Let MACC investigate whistleblower complaint - Bentong MP

Another lawmaker has come out to state that MACC should investigate claims by a whistleblower allegedly possessing video evidence of a major corruption scandal in a state.

Bentong MP Young Syefura Othman, also a member of one of MACC’s special advisory committees, said it is still too early to speculate on the alleged corruption case first reported by Malaysiakini yesterday.

“I only ask witnesses to follow MACC’s advice and lodge a formal complaint so that protection can be given under the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010.
