Kimlun Corporation Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Kimlun Sdn Bhd has been awarded an RM128.52 million design-and-build contract by Senai-Desaru Expressway Bhd.

The construction and engineering company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the project involves upgrading a stretch of the Senai-Desaru Expressway from Jambatan Sungai Johor (KM49.3) to Sungai Semenchu (KM58.7).

Kimlun noted that construction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.

The company added that the contract is anticipated to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets throughout the contract period.
