Launderettes, workplace buildings to be non-smoking areas effective Jan

The Health Ministry said that under the newly enforced Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024 (Act 852), launderettes and workplace buildings would be listed as no-smoking zones.

However, Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad said the two areas would come under the restriction on Jan 1 next year.
