The Vision School issue, my guess is, will never be laid to rest. Some will look at it from a political angle and some from the educational angle.

Interestingly, the proponents of the vision school themselves are in the dark about the ffectiveness of the scheme.

The Vision School scheme will fail and so will Vision 2020. The objectives set out by both visions are a farce. Why?

Take a look at Barisan Nasional. The pendokong wawasan (the crusader of the vision) itself is a great mockery to these visions. Dr Mahathir Mohamad talks about unity, harmony and integration on one side and on the other side, we see a political pact under his leadership based on racial parties.

I strongly think BN (and even BA, in case it slips into the same category in future) should "review" its policies and break away from partisan politics. It should implement the vision of "Bangsa Malaysia" in its pact before throwing this concept at the public's face.

I hope our Malaysia will visit its 50th independence day without the current political sentiments around.

What say you, Dr Mahathir?
