I fully agree with what Kura Bintang mentioned in [#1]How can Vision Schools unite all[/#] (Dec 8)?

To anybody with a good vision, this Vision School concept is just a tool of BN to deprive the Malaysians of Chinese and Indian origins of their rights to mother tongue education as enshrined in the Constitution.

I am not surprised if the non-Chinese, especially the Malays, do not understand why this concept is widely rejected by the Chinese community (that is if they, the non-Chinese, truly do not know the real objective behind this) because some of my English-educated Chinese friends have reacted the same way.

I pity these Chinese who do not understand or read Chinese. They are almost completely cut off from what is actually happening in the Chinese community. They can't feel the pulse, so to say, of their own race.

Non-Chinese media do not cover much the feelings and needs of the Chinese community. How can you understand something that you do not know ?

Why do the majority of the Chinese reject the Vision Schools? Just look at what has happened to the converted Chinese secondary schools. You can be cheated once, but not twice.

By putting the Malays, Chinese and Indians under one roof (Vision School), will the racial problems be solved ? Will we live in harmony and understand each other better?

No more threats to burning down buildings ? Only derma darah and not mandi darah? Try putting all your relatives under one roof for just one month or even one week. Live in harmony? No ill-feelings? My foot.

There will be racial harmony when there are equal rights and treatment in education, employment, and other social and economic areas. Vision Schools won't solve this so-called racial disharmony problem. It can and will alleviate it.

History showed that it's the politicians who created racial tensions for their personal interests and not really for our bangsa dan negara.

Think as a Malaysian. Not as a Malay, not as a Chinese, not as an Indian. Think.
