On No mass resignations from AG's Chambers

Jane Abdullah: This episode brings me back to the period when Mokhtar Abdullah was AG and after the letter that Judge Syed Ahmad Idid wrote on corruption in the judiciary. I believe a number of officers in the AG's Chambers felt compelled to resign as they believed the truth of Idid's letter. I am not sure how many did resign in the end.

Then there was the case of the first woman AG after that. She resigned supposedly for health reasons but rumours abounded at that time in legal circles. Perhaps the truth will soon be out as the main players of that period like Dr Mahathir have all retired.

Let's investigate! Clean out the closets!


On Brain drain - government may not give a damn
