PM announces targeted subsidy for diesel

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today announced that the government has decided to end blanket subsidy for fuel that benefits both the “maha kaya” (ultra-rich) and foreigners, moving ahead with the implementation of targeted subsidy with an expected savings of RM4 billion.
