Perikatan Nasional claims a Pakatan Harapan victory in Kuala Kubu Baharu this weekend would be short-lived.
PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan said that PN has evidence of Harapan engaging in bribery.
He believed the evidence was strong enough that Harapan’s win could be nullified, forcing another by-election for the seat.
Harapan denied bribing voters and instead claimed that PN is bracing for a defeat on Saturday.

Gaza war profiteers in KL
Several companies that are profiting from the war on Gaza by supplying weapons to Israel are in Kuala Lumpur.
The companies, such as Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems, are major exhibitors at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) and National Security (Natsec) Asia 2024 exhibition.
While Malaysia has staunchly opposed Israel’s assault on Gaza, Putrajaya is not taking a stance against the companies whose war machines and weapons have killed over 34,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
Defence Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin said what these companies do with other countries is not the government’s business.

RM277b lost due to graft
Malaysia has lost RM277 billion due to corruption over the past five years.
The MACC said losses were calculated based on the cumulative estimate of the gross domestic product from 2018 until last year.
In response, the government is launching yet another anti-corruption strategy to curtail graft.
