KK Mart violence escalates
Another petrol bomb has been lobbed at a KK Mart outlet, this time in Kuantan, Pahang.
And unlike the Bidor case, the firebomb in Kuantan ignited but was quickly extinguished by staff.
The attacks occurred in branches that did not carry the socks bearing the word Allah.
Those socks were only found in three branches, all in Selangor.
The sultans of Perak and Pahang have both condemned the attacks in their respective states.

Israeli hitman nabbed
Police detained an Israeli national using a French passport and seized six pistols.
Israeli media reported that the man had come to Malaysia to assassinate the head of a rival crime family.
However, police have beefed up security for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and prime minister amid concerns of violence over Malaysia's support for Palestine.

Padu registrations close
Registrations for the Central Database Hub (Padu) are closed.
Those who have not registered will only have their basic information on the system - which the government already had.
The Statistics Department said the point of Padu registrations was to get dynamic data of users.
The government has yet to outline what metrics it would use to determine who will get aid.
