Charging 'Mentega Terbang' filmmakers excessive and archaic: NGO

The Freedom Film Network (FFN) has railed against the criminal charges filed against the director and producer of “Mentega Terbang”, calling it excessive, disproportionate, and archaic.

In a statement tonight, the group said that there was no evidence of a continued public outcry and it called on the government to immediately and unconditionally drop the charges against director Mohd Khairianwar Jailani and producer Tan Meng Kheng.
