Mongolian national Altantya Shaariibuu made a second attempt to see political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda after being rebuffed by his private investigator P Balasubramaniam, the Shah Alam High Court heard today.

Asked why Altantuya had returned to his house by herself on Oct 19 last year, fourth witness Uuriintuya Gal Orchir, 30, said Altantuya was confident that she would be able to meet him if she went alone.

Uuriintuya was testifying on the sixth day of the high-profile murder trial which has continued to attract attention - the court room was packed again today.

Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, 30, and Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar, 35, from the police Special Action Squad are charged with murdering translator Altantuya, 28, at a location between lots 12843 and 16735, Mukim Bukit Raja, between 10pm on Oct 19 and 1am on Oct 20 last year.

Abdul Razak (photo), 46, is charged with abetting them between 9.54am on Oct 18 last year and 9.45pm the following day at Bangunan Getah Asli in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

Responding through a Mongolian interpreter, Uuriintuya said she and a friend Namiraa Gerelmaa had accompanied Altantuya on a visit to Abdul Razak's house about 7pm on Oct 19, but were turned away by Balasubramaniam.

They returned to their room in Hotel Malaya but just after they were dropped off, Altantuya said she wanted to go back to the house.

"I told her not to go alone and we should go, all three of us. She was typing a message (on her handphone). Maybe she was receiving a message asking to see her alone. She said 'If I go alone, he will meet me'," said Uuriintuya.

Uuriintuya described her friendship with Altantuya as having begun two to three years ago. She also said she had come to Malaysia with Altantuya and Namiraa on Oct 8 last year.

In an emotional moment when asked to identify Altantuya (photo) from a photograph, she dropped her head and shed tears.

Questioned by Deputy Public Prosecutor Manoj Kurup as to what K Suras Kumar (Balasubramaniam's assistant) wanted or did when he entered their hotel room, Uuriintuya replied: "He was threatening us and told us he was going to kill us."

Altantuya responded by pleading with Suras to "let me see Razak one time", but was told "You better go back to Mongolia or he will kill you", said Uuriintuya.

(This morning, Namiraa had told the court that Suras Kumar had forced his way into their room and that, each time, he would tell them 'Razak Baginda sent me to kill you'.)

Replying to other questions about their visit to Abdul Razak's house, she corroborated the main points in Namiraa's testimony.

She was then asked to identify several items of clothing and jewellery belonging to Altantuya - the process will continue when the hearing resumes tomorrow.
