Condo project inhumane, noisy
Concerned MK Palma ResidentPublished: May 1, 2007 7:59 AM | Updated: Jan 29, 2008 10:21 AM
I am a resident staying in Mont Kiara Palma, Kuala Lumpur, for the past 12 months. There are a lot of new condos projects under construction within the vicinity of Palma Condominum.
Recently, a new condominium project was started next to the I Zen Condo in my area. At times, the construction work continues even beyond midnight and the noise pollution can be clearly heard from my condo, which is far away from the actual construction site.
My husband even woke up in the middle of the night due to the noise from the construction site.
I wonder if this is legal? Why isn't anyone looking into this midnight construction? Is it also legal for the workers to work day and night till after 2am?
They are human beings who need to rest and sleep, even though they may be foreign labourers. This is very inhumane besides disturbing the peace of the residents staying in the Pines and Palma condo.
