Two buses suspected of ferrying phantom voters were spotted at a polling station in Sungai Darah this afternoon.

PKR Selangor Division chief Abdul Wahab, 47, sad he saw two gold-coloured tourist buses bearing the name 'Malacca-Singapore' letting people off near SRK Rantau Panjang Batang Berjuntai.

"The stopped near the polling station and dropped about 30 people off. When they passed the party tent (set up to assist voters), we could see it was empty.

"Then it parked further down near the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) trucks and we haven't seen people going back on the bus," he said.

He suspected the phantom voters had blended with the BN supporters across the road.

Abdul Wahab checked to see if the buses were there, they had left but several FRU trucks were still there.

Meanwhile, in Kampung Ijok, a PKR official alleged party workers had 'identified' at least two persons who they suspect of being phantom voters.

Old but acted like first timer

One of them, said PKR Tanjung Karang division chief Abdul Kuthus Omar, looked like a Pakistani as he was wearing a shalwar kameez.

Abdul Kuthus added that despite being an older person, the man behaved like it was the first time he was voting.

"When he arrived, he rode his motorcycle right up to the gate of the SK Kampung Ijok (one of the polling stations). He did not know that he had to park his vehicle a distance from the polling station and could only walk inside," he told malaysiakini.

Polling coordinator for Jaya Setia, meanwhile, spoke of a similar incident, wherein two persons who were not from the area voted at the district's polling station.

"One of them was an Indian man who admitted, after voting, that he was from Batang Berjuntai," said Azmi Mohamad.

The other was a woman who, greeted by residents of Jaya Setia who did not recognise her, "acted suspiciously" and walked quickly away to her vehicle, said Azmi.
