PM's trail of goodies
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has been leaving a trail of goodies behind as he goes on his Aidilfitri open house tour across six states.
Days after his Kedah open house, Anwar announced that Putrajaya would pump an additional RM3.07 million and fast track the construction of a mosque in Changlun.
At his Penang open house, the premier announced that the federal funding for the state's LRT project will be increased, while the contentious Penang South Island reclamation project would be scaled down.
Then at his Negeri Sembilan open house, he announced that the state would be allocated RM1.2 billion for socio-economic development.
Anwar will have open houses in Selangor, Kelantan, and Terengganu later this week.

Dr M sues Anwar
Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his archnemesis Anwar are finally having a battle, in court.
Mahathir filed an RM150 million defamation suit against Anwar over claims that the former premier had amassed wealth for personal riches while in power.
The former premier claimed that the allegation had not only ruined his image and reputation but also brought shame upon himself as well as his family members.

Hunt for Jho Low
Anwar confirmed that his government is making efforts to extradite fugitive businessperson Jho Low.
Previously, former Wall Street Journal journalist Bradley Hope reported that Malaysian government officials were working on a deal with China on Low’s extradition.
Anwar, however, said multiple countries were involved in the extradition talks.
Meanwhile, the MACC has succeeded in bringing back one of Low's former associates to cooperate with investigations.
