Special 3R police task force probes 7 cases since inception

A special police task force formed to probe alleged insults on rulers, religion, and race (3R) has since its formation last month opened seven cases and detained two suspects.

The investigation papers were opened between March 27 and April 6, with a one-week target for submission to the Attorney-General’s Chambers, according to police secretary Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin in a statement today.
