Whether Lee should have paid in full or get a discount or even not pay at all for the SIA charter flight is up to their people to decide. As a civil servant, I am sure Lee is entitled to benefits we are not even aware of. A civil servant in our country is entitled retirement benefits until his last breath on earth. What more can be said when Lee was the PM. His contributions are worth more than what SIA may or may not have done for his wife.

Singapore ministers are drawing five figure salaries, something Lee has justified without hiding. Look at our ministers. They may have draw the same high salaries but look at the way they managed the GLCs. Look at the way they invest with EPF's money but with the profit going to individuals.

Some politically-linked crony businessmen have gone bust but have insisted that the people's money be used to bail them out because of 'national pride'. I would love to do this kind of business. I wonder how these people sleep at night? I reckon it must be with their eyes open.

Whatever and however we love to spin, we Malaysian are the suckers in the end. And we are to be blamed because we bred these leeches in the first place through our votes, me included.
