T'ganu sultanah denies involvement in 1MDB's predecessor

Terengganu Sultanah Nur Zahirah rubbished allegations she used her influence to establish the Terengganu Investment Authority (TIA), the predecessor of 1MDB, in 2009.

During a court hearing today of her civil action against defendant and Sarawak Report founder Clare Rewcastle-Brown, the plaintiff contended that the book 'The Sarawak Report - The inside story of 1MDB' falsely painted her as having the ability to exercise influence in TIA's formation.
