More building materials added into VOP clause to help contractors - PM

The government has added 11 more building materials in the implementation of the variation of prices (VOP) clause to help face the rising prices of building materials, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said today.

This will also ensure projects are completed on time, the prime minister said, adding that there were now 15 items in the VOP, including cement, bricks, glass and ceiling and roof materials.
