First person charged under Whistleblower Protection Act acquitted

Former deputy chief executive officer of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), the first person who was charged under the Whistleblower Protection Act for causing an employee of the company to be sacked for informing the MACC of the former's wrongdoings, was freed by the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court yesterday.
