ALR clarifies role in toll restructuring for 4 Klang Valley highways

Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat (ALR) Bhd has attempted to shed light on its role in the toll restructuring exercise announced by Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob earlier.
The exercise is to maintain the toll rates at four key Klang Valley highways until the end of their concession period.
This comes after critics questioned the lack of details on the “not for profit” private firm with a “mandate from the government” to take over the highways and eventually return them to the government.
