The United Arab Emirates national carrier Etihad today said it will launch flights to Kuala Lumpur from Abu Dhabi in January, in its fourth service to the Far East.

Etihad currently flies to Bangkok, Jakarta and Manila.

The new route, which will operate six days a week excluding Saturday, will be serviced by an Airbus A340-300 aircraft.

Etihad is based in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi and currently flies to 47 destinations worldwide.
