COMMENT | Think for the many, don’t worry about the few

COMMENT | It is time the people think for the many and not to worry so much about the few. It is time we choose political power that would implement policies that tax the rich and use the money to improve public healthcare, improve rural infrastructure, build affordable houses and increase the minimum wage.

International NGO Oxfam revealed that Asia’s billionaires have increased their wealth by 74 percent while 148 million others in the region have been pushed into poverty since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
