It is no surprise if foreigners think 'Malaysia Bodoh' instead of Malaysia Boleh lately. If The Sun report is anything to go by, I would assume that answer furnished by Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Abdul Rahman Suliman Abdul Rahman in Parliament recently is purely meant to ridicule the public.

According to the report, Abdul Rahman told the Dewan Rakyat that the Malaysian Islamic Development Board (Jakim) website is the most popular among government agencies, registering a phenomenal 99.56 million hits in the first half of this year!

I repeat, 99.56 million hits in six months. Simple mathematics would tell us that the website receives more than 500,000 hits a day. Wow! This is really a Malaysia Boleh thing!

I visited the Jakim website and here is what I read on the bottom of its page: 'Anda adalah pelawat yang ke 4,053,516 sejak dilancarkan pada 16 Disember 1996' (You're the 4,053,516 visitor since launching on Dec 16, 1996).

If this statistic is to be considered, the Jakim website only receives 1,126 visitors a day.

Now I wonder whether our minister lied in the Parliament.
