The Bangladeshi, who arrived legally in Malaysia in 2008, said his working hours and days were never fixed.
For some months, he would work for 25 days and in other months, he would work for 30 days, without off days or leave. His days off were entirely at the company’s discretion.

It is not just the migrant workers that need to educated. Malaysians need to be educated too, that migrant workers are not some sub-species but are the same as us and are entitled to the same rights. If we understand that they are no different, then we treat them like our Malaysian employees and there will be much lesser cases of abuse.
