Why these amendments to increase the Act 342 fines for non compliance are redundant. 1. Compliance is by having clear non changing SOPs for each industries, sectors and public places. Have clear levels of restrictions without changing every other day. 2. Educate, warn , and set an example by leaders. 3. The police and Rela presence is to deter and Educate and not impoverished the rakyat when Government already said we are unable to help you with funds and therefore we allow opening of economy with SOPs. Meaning the police / enforcement agencies must actually understand the actual SOPs and deter and Educate while the rakyat is trying to earn a living. 3. Equating these breaches as sizeable offences like robbery when it is more of discipline problems or being negligent as in road accidents offences shows the callousness of the Government of the day as treating rakyat ( not the VIPs) as illegal migrants to be rounded up and jailed rather than admonished and taught the proper way with a sliding compound after warnings. 4. The failures of PN in having the foresight to be eternally vigilant rather than lackadaisical in Sabah, quarantine of travelers, workers quarters, adequate testing, inter state travel, not coming out with comprehensive SOPs in May / June itself when hard lock down relaxed . Knowing that Singapore foreign workers will likely be repeated in Malaysia shows that these belated amendments when we are at vaccination in March 2021 is a sign of being SLOW, UNREALISTIC. Everything is done too late to be effective when effective communication leadership and personal sacrifices to show the way will bring the country to a united Covid-19 war effort ??
