Selangor will not recognise PeKT members - exco

The Selangor government will not recognise any representatives from the Housing and Local Government Ministry's Penggerak Komuniti Tempatan (PeKT) initiative to serve in the state.

State exco in charge of local governments, Ng Sze Han, said the intended role of PeKT members is seen to be "nearly similar" to the function of existing local councillors...
