Census second phase rescheduled due to Covid-19

The second phase of the Population and Housing Census to be carried out this month has been rescheduled to between Jan 20 and Feb 6, 2021, in view of the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in the country.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economic Affairs) Mustapa Mohamed said in a statement today that the second phase, which involves face-to-face interviews, was originally scheduled for Oct 7 to 24.
