People like Mustapha Ong, writer of Malaysiakini writer must be deported, have been brought up in a culture where anyone who dares to express any opinion that is contrary to their own should be silenced one way or another.

Like our daily newspapers that would not print any opinion that even faintly resembles criticisms of the government. Like the people who would threaten you with indefinite detention under the Internal Security Act. Like the people who would chase you out of the country by asking you to migrate to other countries if you don't like it here - 'Kalau tak suka, keluar'.

Like the people who would threaten you with bodily harm because you are unpatriotic or because you are raising sensitive issues. My advice to Ong and people like him is, please stick to the government-controlled media and you would be less likely to be exposed to (oh my goodness!) criticisms of Malaysian government leaders.

I hate to use clich but if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
