I write this letter even though others have also commented on Mustapha Ong's Malaysiakini writer must be deported.

Malaysia has in place a structure of 'free speech' and no where does it say only Malaysians are allowed to speak freely and those who are not Malaysians aren't allowed to. I welcome anybody's comments on Malaysia, especially foreigners living and working here as they see Malaysia through different eyes. Perhaps, sometimes, even more honest eyes as they are not inclined to be scared of the ISA or other means in place to keep differing views silent.

So to all the people in Malaysia (and also those not in Malaysia), speak up and speak up loudly about whatever you like and what you do not like about our beloved country. We are a strong people and we can take the good with the bad. After all, we are always first to comment on other countries including the US, Israel, Palestine, Singapore and southern Thailand.

I say to Mustapha Ong and to others who share his view that you are all true non-patriots. For it is you who would hold others down for speaking their minds while you yell at the top of your voices about other people.
