HJ Angus: Let the SC (Securities Commission) probe the company and then let the CID (Criminal Investigation Department) and whatever authority is empowered go after the real culprits.

If this kind of corrupt practice is allowed, the country will go to the dogs. The federal government should also not allow state corporations to invest in dubious schemes. If state companies can cheat the government and get away, this will only encourage more culprits to try their luck.

Truly Malaysian: Wake up to reality! Corruption is everywhere and it appears in different shapes. In the western world it is legalised and hypocritical, whereas in the eastern world it is outright straight in your face and you cannot do anything about it.

The difference between eastern corruption and western corruption is simple - the laws. The more laws one has, the more corrupt the country is. Are all these laws actually protecting the man on the street? I don't think so. I can safely assume 95 percent of us don't even know how the laws are enacted or why it was enacted or whether our so-called representatives actually work to enact these laws to benefit the public.

Corruption is nature's way of restoring our faith in democracy, so embrace corruption with the right conscience and benefit the society. Legalised corruption now.


On Sukma pleads not guilty, given bail
