Perak unveils state exco portfolio
The PN led Perak state government has announced the portfolio of the seven state executive council members.

He is also the acting health executive council member.
Perak Umno chief and Kota Tampan state assemblyperson Saarani Mohamad will head the committee for the rural development, entrepreneur development, cooperation and consumer Affairs.
Perak PAS commissioner and Gunung Semanggol state assemblyperson Razman Zakaria will helm the portfolio of education, human capital, non-governmental organisations and civil society.
Bersatu's Tualang Sekah state assemblyperson Nolee Ashilin Mohamed Radzi is now the exco member of housing, local government, public transport and tourism.
She is also the acting communication and multimedia exco member.
While Umno's Rungkup state assemblyperson Shahrul Zaman Yahya is appointed as the chairperson of industry, investment and corridor development committee.
Shahrul will temporarily hold the portfolio of youth and sports.
Kuala Kurau state assemblyperson Abdul Yunus Jamhari from Bersatu will hold the portfolio of agriculture, infrastructure, energy and water.
PAS' Selama state assemblyperson Mohd Akmal Kamarudin is now the exco member of Islamic affairs and information.
He is also the acting exco member of science, environment and green technology.
Perak Umno Wanita chief and Kampung Gajah state assemblyperson Wan Norashikin Wan Noordin is appointed as exco member of women development, family and social welfare.
On March 31, seven exco members were sworn in Perak before Perak's Sultan Nazrin Shah. Three portfolios were left vacant.
The new state government was formed following the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan-led Perak government with Bersatu quitting the previous coalition government to form a new majority with Umno and PAS.
Three other Harapan assemblypersons had also defected to Ahmad Faizal's side.
They were Paul Yong Choo Kiong (Tronoh - DAP), A Sivasubramaniam (Buntong - DAP) and Hasnul Zulkarnain Abd Munaim (Titi Serong - Amanah).
All three have been sacked from their parties.
