Bakke Salleh was the "most qualified" person to helm the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) and his removal by the present administration was a grave mistake, said former primary industries minister Teresa Kok.
In a statement today, Kok said Bakke had experience in the plantation sector with Felda, FGV Bhd and Sime Darby Bhd.
Describing his termination as a grave mistake and a loss for the palm oil industry, Teresa Kok points out how Bakke has vast experience in the plantation sector.
