By the time Dr. M. is ready to handover power to Anwar, if it ever happens, Bersatu, being the primary beneficiary of Umno's demise engineered by Dr. M., will be the largest component party in PH. and will call all the shots in the PH coalition. Dr. M. is a very cunning old fox and is plotting for Bersatu to become defacto Umno2 if not stopped. I won't be surprised if the rumoured coup attempt by DAP and PKR came from Dr. M. during his meeting with Hadi to drum up Malay support against Umno.
Was the draft letter signed? If it was signed, it was not a draft. PAS people are big liars. Mahathir hardly talks. He mostly listens. He knows that anything he says will get carried outside and get distorted. So, he doesn't say thing. It was Hadi who asked to see Mahathir. So, why should Mahathir say anything? It was for Hadi to sing like a bird. Mahathir responded to what Hadi said. He said he can only look at the RM90m and RM200m cases after Semenyih. After Semenyih, the probe will be stepped up. Hadi will go cringing, crawling and grovelling to Mahathir again. Mahathir will say that he can't interfere with the probe. He can only look at it after it's complete. The probe will be kept hanging over Hadi's head until the party gets rid of him.
Topple mullah hadi instead If pas leadership is smart, they would have a no confidence vote on taliban hadi and kick out Nik Beduh. That will save themselves from a lot of grief.
