      Can we also include China giving us JLow as part of the deal provided we keep confidential whatever role he played in the ECRL contract being awarded to CCCC - this would be a nice gesture from China that they dont tolerate corruption not only in their country but in their trading partners as well

      Why don't CCCC take over the whole ECRL project like design, build and operate at their own cost and the Malaysian Government can grant them a 30 years lease at a minimum tax of maybe 6% on their annual turnover. Win Win lah like that.

      Not surprise at all that both parties would work hard to come to an amicable solution. China wants to maintain good relations with Malaysia which occupies a strategic geographical location in South East Asia overlooking important sea lanes. On the other hand, Malaysia needs the huge China market for its commodities.
