Simple solution. Just like you have halal and non-halal eateries, you can also have smokers and non-smokers eating places. In that way, everyone has a choice. Otherwise just make smoking illegal and see what happens

As a former smoker, I do agree with the ban but at the same time the government should provide an alternative. I work in the KL Sentral area and ever since the ban was imposed I've noticed it's ridiculously hard to smoke in the area and this is where I sympathize. All office buildings, the station, the hotels don't have a proper smoking area and have plastered no smoking signs outside their lobbies also. So now you see alot of smokers standing on the side walks smoking. This is rather unpleasant for both smokers and non smokers.  Some adjustments must be made to the regulation.

As per Article 5 (1) of our constitution, No person shall be deprived of citizen's life or personal liberty save in accordance with law. Then why a non-smoker should be subjected to various diseases including lung cancer or of heart, just because citizen goes to public places? Does the smoking indirectly deprive of citizen's life without any due process of law? If the answer is yes, then smokers are depriving the non-smoking citizen's life without due legal process. We hope and pray this group knew what they are getting into by this judicial review.

Smokers..pls be honest....will you vote PH or BN ? Looks like you guys just formed a new racial group after malay, chinrse, indian. Judging from the severe screwing you guys gave the MOH Minister and deputy Minister....you seem to have evolved into a power of your own.

Your freedom to smoke ends where my health begins.

Your activity (smoking) does harm to others when you force others to breath your smoke. In this world you can do just about anything as long as it isn’t to another person. If you smoke near me you are assaulting me, should I assault you too?
