As Asians, we must view everything from an Asian perspective for the simple reason that western ways do not comport with oriental values when seen through the Asian lens of axiology and praxeology. We must be acutely aware that the west does not trust Asians when it comes to the true grit exhibited by Brazil, Russia, India. China and South Africa (BRICS) that permanently broke the mould made by western values as to what it takes to become a developed nation.
