Why seek out traditional medicine?

Now that Chinese Traditional Medicine has a thorough science-based foundation, as you have mentioned, why still call it still Chinese Traditional Medicine or even Chinese medicine? Why not just scientifically-based medicine and non scientifically based medicine? Many great seminal discoveries which form the basis of medicine today came from various countries and nations all over the world but medicine is not known by their respective race or nation. As has been said - there is no such thing as this medicine or that medicine. Good medicine is medicine that works, and bad medicine is that which does not. And scientifically based medicine is the one which works and non scientifically based medicine the one which does not.
Well said but will the powers that be listen or implement ?
