Sadly secular notions fail to respect that Malaysia is a progressive Muslim country. Certain decorum must be respected. A big boo boo but not intentional. Lets move on

Why worry about pork images if you are strong in your religious beliefs. Only weak hearted or flickered minded individuals who can't control their urge will tempt to be affected by a mere look at a photo

      Rose Liyana Idayu09:28 PM, 24 Jan 2019

well, it's a matter of either doing the popular thing or rather than the right thing. in this case #MAS think that they did the popular thing which turns out being unpopular now..

Aaron Moh siew chin06:43 PM, 24 Jan 2019

those who feel offended should work harder and save up and travel overseas and widen their horizon. dont try to be more arabs than the arabs themself. even the arabs are not so shallow

      Mary Lee03:48 PM, 24 Jan 2019

see beef as pork as it was self inflicted create nothing out of thin airCEO should focus on how to add value to MAS and its passengers

Iswardy Tan bin Abdullah12:00 PM, 24 Jan 2019

This is bringing religion to a really crazy and senseless level! Should muslims in Malaysia blame God for creating the pig? Wake up!

      David Wong11:24 AM, 24 Jan 2019

This not an airline anymore it is just a flying kampong bus run by imbeciles.

Alicia Lee Chiau Chze10:53 AM, 24 Jan 2019

Too bad...Playing up the religious card is a dirt cheap way of gaining political mileage. In addition, other than playing up the race and religious cards, these idiot simply do not have any constructive ideas, brain power, attitude to help move the country forward..So all that they can do is resort to religion...Until the education system is overhaul, government put a stop to all these nonsense, we will continue to see things like this happening.

      roger goh10:43 AM, 24 Jan 2019

      Scary..

      Eric Soo10:30 AM, 24 Jan 2019

Enough is enough! No one should heed such moronic view of religious bigotry. Malaysia will not move forward if we keep giving sweets to such lunatics.

      Racheal Goh09:53 AM, 24 Jan 2019

If MAS were to react to every traveller's sensitivities then it better close shop.. A vegetarian will be disgusted with meat in the menu!!! So apologise and remove all meat???? Do not mix business with religion.. a sure fire mess up ..

      09:51 AM, 24 Jan 2019

This is absolute rubbish. Why should MAS apologize at all even if pork is featured. Don’t pander to those overly sensitive stupid idiots. They will be offended by everything except their own ignorance.  Grow up you Bloody hypocrites. MAS is an international airline and their clientele is international. Yes, they eat pork too!!$&@#%*

      Harwender Singh09:34 AM, 24 Jan 2019

I can’t believe this is a news item for MAS. Can it get even worse? First mh370 , mh17, and now you wish to apologise for displaying pork dishes? Seriously, What are your priorities? Who is running your PR department because it appears all levels of professionalism have been ignored. Will you remove steak from the menu because it would offend Hindus? SonImmature.

      Elane Chin09:13 AM, 24 Jan 2019

Why bother comment. Let taliban peninsula annihilate with glee.
