Entertainment artiste and TV host Neelofa was at the Kuala Lumpur court complex today for a mediation session for two defamation suits she filed against two media organisations.

Neelofa, who is also an entrepreneur with a business selling Muslim headscarves (tudung), had sued Oh Media.my and Roti Kaya.com separately for articles carried by both sites regarding the launch of her tudung line at the Zouk disco and on her being a female icon.

Neelofa, whose real name is Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, made the “Forbes 30 under 30” list in 2017.

Lawyer Aiman Ariff Abdul Azij for Oh Media told reporters that the matter between Neelofa had been settled with the consent judgment to be recorded before Kuala Lumpur High Court judicial commissioner Darryl Goon at a later date.

"The terms of the settlement cannot be disclosed," he said.

Meanwhile, Neelofa's lawyers Wan Norliyana Abdul Rahman and Noor Nadia Mohd Nafiz confirmed the proposed settlement in their client's suit against Oh Media (Omm Media Sdn Bhd).

Wan Norliyana also later confirmed the settlement with Roti Kaya and said a consent judgment will be entered later before Judicial Commissioner Aliza Sulaiman.

The mediation today was done before High Court deputy registrar Nurulizwan Ahmad Zubir, who stood in as mediator.

As soon as mediation was over, Neelofa was seen leaving, accompanied by her driver to her BMW.
