Domino effect on universities

I refer to the article Paying the price for 'Ketuanan Melayu' folly.
It is obvious that the lack of meritocracy, intense discrimination and racial profiling has led to our universities not giving promotions to qualified lecturers besides a discriminative student admission policy.
This has somehow led to a domino effect with the quality of these universities deteriorating every year.
What else is there to say? Welcome to the 'real Malaysia'.
