Malaysiakini has a right to exist

I refer to the letter Malaysiakini 'a poison' to country by Dawud.
"You remain a poison which I shall endeavour to remove by the intellectual capacity which you seem to lack", he says. Hmm I visualise an intellectual superhero coming to the rescue of we poor brainless Malaysians. Maybe we can refer to you as 'SuperIntelman'?
Jokes aside, this letter is one big irony. You talk about malaysiakini being 'rubbish', 'poison' and a 'liar'. Fine. My question is, what was it that was a lie or rubbish? What are you referring to?
What alternative facts do you have for us to back up all your claims? Let's be more specific here Superintelman. We wouldn't want to be accused of being a big pot calling the kettle black, do we?
Malaysiakini may stand for something which is an impossibility in the face of 'practical reality', but it's better than lying down and playing dead. The foundation of all nations came about from the struggles of our forefathers. Where would we be today if we had subscribed to your notion of 'letting sleeping dogs lie'? Where would the African Americans and South Africans be if they believed in this utopia of practical reality?
Your idea on human rights is phenomenal to say the least. As the word suggests, it's either a right or a wrong. Period. Whether or not the reality of the situation befits the circumstances does not make it right. How and why it was developed does not make it right.
Who are you to preach about the needs of the country considering you have only been here like three years? Until you have walked 10 miles in all of our shoes, maybe then we can see some semblance of an intellect coming out of you.
Just as you, as a permanent resident of Malaysia, have the prerogative to call malaysiakini a liar, they, too, have the right to exist, irregardless of you not buying what they have to say. Because for one, your views do not mirror the people of Malaysia and your views definitely do not represent mine as a citizen of this country.
One suggestion though, stop subscribing to this 'rubbish' and live your life blissfully in oblivion.
