Rosmah Mansor, wife of Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, has urged husbands who are state assemblypersons and members of Parliament to continue to lend support to their wives' charitable activities.
She said husbands should fully understand and allow their wives to participate in charitable work as these were praiseworthy efforts.
According to a Bernama report, Rosmah said that the presence of husbands at charitable programmes organised by their wives' charitable and welfare bodies could provide moral support and encouragement to the wives.
"Husbands should provide moral support to their wives. Attend and support the activities. Do not merely attend when the menteri besar is around. I know the trick," she said at the presentation of Hari Raya goodies from the Charitable and Welfare Organisation of Wives, Selangor (Balkis) in Shah Alam, Selangor.
