      #PulangMengundi movement attacked by spambots

GE14 | The social media campaign aimed at helping Malaysians travel home to vote in the 14th general election (GE14) has been bombarded by attacks from “spambots”.

The #PulangMengundi hashtag on Twitter was observed to have been inundated by unidentifiable users who would tweet the hashtag along with tens of other hashtags, but without any calls for or to offer assistance.

GE14 | The social media movement's initiator claims the spambots are out to drown the campaign.

BN leadership will know from its intelligence the mood of the voters. Past practice included the difficulties to get proper halls for opposition campaign, and blockades to discourage etc. But there are limitations and simply impossible to prevent physical movement. Take Bersih protest, despite all initial reservations masses of people went out to the streets. Highways will be heavy but never underestimate the resolute of people. But physical movement of boxes of votes are possibilities, and whether these can closely monitored is another thing. Whatever the outcome for the sake of democracy the country has come this far. BN has all the advantages in an very uneven system, it will be not be impossible for opposition to upset, possibly even in some of the heavyweights.

Organisers must take precaution to prevent sabotage during the journey back to vote. Anything can happen!!! Please set up a surveillance team. Just a suggestion.
