Felda risks losing prime land

The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) is at risk of losing an RM270 million plot of land, due to an allegedly "dubious" transfer two years ago.

Felda has lodged a police report over the possibility of fraud in said transaction, chairperson Shahrir Samad told a press conference.

The Human Resources Ministry announced that employers will be required to pay the levy for their migrant workers from Jan 1, 2018.
