The Malaysian and Indonesian governments must immediately round up those parties guilty of causing the current haze problem. They must be severely punished as their crime against the public is hardly forgivable.

We had similar haze problems before. These unscrupulous people are aware of their actions and yet they have the audacity to repeat the same transgression. They must pay for the gravity of their offence lest others be tempted to make big bucks out of the misery of a defenceless public.

We in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor have suffered enough. Imagine the conditions our Indonesian brothers and sisters are living in in the immediate vicinity of the infernos. This should be the last time we face this sort of avoidable, hazardous problem.

If the government wishes to demonstrate it caring attitude, then it must really be very stern on this issue of the haze. Otherwise we can see that the government's image will become hazy as well.
