DAP and MCA face off in debate over Rasah seat

DAP and MCA clashed in the first debate between the two parties in five years, attracting some 500 people at Dewan Kampung Seri Mambau in Seremban, where the showdown took place yesterday.

The last debate was between DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and then MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek took place in 2012, just before the 13th general election, which received national attention.

While the debate this time was not a clash of titans like before, it was still seen as a proxy battle ahead of the 14th general election.

This is because the debaters - former DAP Youth chief Teo Kok Seong and MCA Youth legal bureau chief Ng Kiam Nam - are both expected to contest the parliamentary seat of Rasah in the next general election...
