EC agrees to hold local inquiry in Bandar Tun Razak

The Election Commission (EC) has agreed to hold a local inquiry following objections filed by Bandar Tun Razak voters on the present redelineation exercise.

Following this, three voters withdrew their judicial review application filed against the EC's earlier decision to not hold an inquiry, said lawyer Syahredzan Johan who represented the three voters.

"As the EC has agreed to hold the inquiry, we are withdrawing this judicial review application. One of the voters received a letter from the EC on July 27 to inform their intention to hold the inquiry," he told reporters, adding no order was made as to costs...
