I can't understand what our political and administrative systems are doing these days. They talk big of great bilateral relationships at the ministerial level between the governments but that apparently has not solved anything.

What are these guys talking about and solving? Because of Indonesia, the haze has become a frequent and permanent problem for Malaysia. It is no use crying every time when we are choked and suffocated.

Can't the relevant ministers, secretary-generals, director-generals and others find concrete solutions for this serious health hazard? And why can't Indonesia stop the burning of its forests? What incentives can be given to their farmers to encourage them to stop this burning?

Help should be sought from the World Bank and International Monetary Fund in terms of finance to help Indonesia overcome this massive problem. I'm sure all will agree to help, otherwise the whole world will be choked to death with Malaysia the first to go.

Are our chaps serious about this issue when they attend the numerous regional and international meetings which involve Asean and other international bodies? What are they achieving at these meetings?

It appears they are wasting taxpayers' money. God help us from this mediocrity. Mr Prime Minister, you better have the right Malaysians in the right places forthwith for us to progress and to be safe as a nation.
