Johor DAP rep booted out of state assembly

Pekan Nenas assemblyperson Yeo Tung Siong was booted out of the Johor state assembly this morning.

This came after the assembly speaker Mohamad Aziz rejected two motions on the Johor bumiputera housing scandal, allegedly involving state executive councillor Abd Latiff Bandi's son and special officer.

In his first motion, Yeo urged the assembly to establish a select committee to oversee the investigations on the scandal.
