Jamal: Yawas board did not meet for two years

Sungai Besar Umno division head Jamal Md Yunos today alleged that the Yayasan Wawasan Anak Selangor (Yawas) has not held a board meeting for two years, thereby violating the Registrar of Societies (ROS) rules.

At a press conference in Ampang, Jamal urged the ROS to investigate Yawas and Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali, as Yawas chairperson, over this.

"Since 2015 until last year - for two years in a row - they have not held a board of trustees meeting," said Jamal, who claimed that he has proof but chose not to share it with the media.
